The Pre-roll Manager is a FACEITSync Premium feature that helps you control when Twitch ads run. By triggering ads at strategic moments, pre-roll ads are disabled for upcoming matches, giving new viewers immediate access to your content.
What Are Pre-roll Ads?
Pre-roll ads are played automatically when new viewers join your stream. While they generate revenue, they often cause viewers to leave before seeing any gameplay.
The Problem with Pre-roll Ads
- Pre-rolls only affect new viewers
- Viewers are shown ads before seeing any content
- You have no control over when they are triggered
The Solution: Strategic Mid-roll Ads
When a mid-roll ad is played, Twitch temporarily disables pre-roll ads for a limited time.
- New viewers can join instantly without ads
- Ads are shown during controlled moments
- Viewer retention improves significantly
How FACEITSync Smart Ads Work
FACEITSync can automatically trigger a short ad break when a Twitch Prediction starts, typically before a FACEIT match begins.
- Ad break runs before the match, not during gameplay
- Pre-roll ads are disabled for the upcoming match
- Automatic mid-rolls are paused during the ad-free window
- You decide the ad duration (30–180 seconds)
This gives you full control over when ads run, without manual interaction.
Why This Improves Your Stream
